The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes Holds Public Art Hunt in Corning
If you like public art and solving a good puzzle, The ARTS of the Southern Finger Lakes has created an interactive summer activity that will have you appreciating art AND the Crystal City with its first-ever Public Art Hunt in Corning, NY.
Each week between Aug. 12 and Sept. 2, clues to guide you to local landmarks will be published on The ARTS Council's page. Grab your friends and/or family and solve the clues. Then visit the landmark and snap a photo or a selfie. Be sure to tag @TheARTSCouncil.

End of Summer Spotlight: Eldridge Park, Elmira, NY
There are only three more weekends to enjoy the attractions at Eldridge Park in Elmira before they close out another season of summer fun.
Take a twirl on the Tilt-a-Whirl, fly high on the Sail Planes ride, imagine you’re in a horse race on one of the fastest carousels in the United States – take the opportunity to spend the day with your family, friends and neighbors enjoying one of the area’s funnest and most affordable parks for all ages.

Attractions are open 5 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, noon to 9 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 8 p.m. Sundays through Labor Day.
